Well hello my darling xangites... I know it's been awhile, but I've been busy working on my myspace.  I hate to break it to you, but I am leaving xanga for myspace.

I've just been getting bored with my xanga and felt it was time for a change... but who knows, I may still update from time to time, and I will keep my xanga open for comments, etc. (and I'll still read yours).  So happy trails for now.

Ok so I haven't updated this thing in a month (!) but in my defense I've been in st. louis and haven't had daily access to a computer... anyway what's up xanga people?  not much here.  The holidays are finally over and i could not be happier.  I had a great christmas (santa was very good to me) but i am missing the burg big time!  

The highlights:  got back in st. louis on saturday the 17th, went to the ibar (at harrah's) with my st. louis peeps (amanda, theresa, brandy, and chad) and met up with carrie, tj, heather, and carl.  we had a pretty good time but i didnt win any money :(   spent the week christmas shopping and spending time with my parents.  did christmas adam (a new term i heard for the day before christmas eve, otherwise known as christmas eve eve) at my cousin liz's house with some of my cousins and their kids.  christmas eve i spent time with my dad and went to my grandparents' house.  sheila, alfred, and jacob made a surprise appearance in the wee hours of christmas morning, so i spent some time with them.  christmas day i went to my aunt and uncle's for the niemczyk christmas gathering (my stepdad's family) which was really fun.  spent the week after christmas working at the records center and then headed to my aunt's house in kentucky for new year's weekend.  i had planned on coming back to st. louis for nye, but my cousins (who i hadnt seen in years) came over and spent some time with us so i decided to hang out in kentucky for a few more days.  it was a really good weekend overall.  and this week i've just been working some more (i'm at work now actually but today's my last day!)  I've gotten so much shit i can't wait to go home and find a place for it all! 

what i got:  I know you all are dying to know about all of my marvelous winnings from the past few weeks :)  the best stuff has to be a 30gb ipod, a digital camera, a crapload of awesome bath and body works stuff (actually a birthday present from theresa - cuz my birthday's tomorrow), a silver necklace from the john lennon collection that says "imagine", and several dvds (wizard of oz collector's edition being the most awesome).  i got lots of other great stuff too so anyone reading this thank you for being so generous!  I also bought myself some cute new shoes and an ipod case. 

so now i'm just trying to decide how to spend my birthday.  terrence had to head back to school and carrie's got some prior commitments, plus it's my friend emily's birthday too so i'm sure i'm gonna lose some people to that.  anyhow, thinking about checking out saddle ridge at westport or lucky strike lanes at the mills.  If anybody's reading this and wants to come along, gimme a call. 

i guess that's all for now.  i'll have more to say and plenty of pictures when i get back to school on sunday!  let the year of my (and everyone else's!) graduation begin!
