I just read a late-Vic novel on absinthe, Mary Corelli's Wormwood. It's kinda cool how you happen to be writing a story involving it too!
@ricci_ricardo - I've never heard of Mary Corelli, but I really like the subject of Absinthe (obviously). Was the book good? I might consider reading it. After I finish Daniel Deronda. And Atlas Shrugged. But someday.
Yes it was a pretty good read, veryvery easy. It was sort of like a Danielle Steel/drugstore kind of lit. She is pretty obscure nowadays, but was a big hit back then...
@ricci_ricardo - Cool. I might check it out. I like easy reads. I need escapist ( I guess that's what you could call some of that stuff) literature every now and then.
