i've heard about attempts like this before. why don't they just go back to masschusetts and get their divorce over with instead screwing with the laws of another state? grrr...

Who exactly is "they" and what exactly is "it" that wouldn't "work?" Would "it" be marriage in general, Dan? Hetrosexual couples get divorces all the time, Dan. Maybe none of this doesn't have to do with the orientation of the couple and everything to do with marriage not working. Personally, I believe that a same sex couple should have the right to get married in any state as well as divorce in any state just like heterosexual couples have the right to do.

collison_kiss brings up a good point. Now that homosexuals are allowed to get married in a few states do you homophobic asswipes expect them to stay with that spouse forever? There are plenty of Christian hetrosexual married couples who get divorced for one reason or another. Do you all look down upon them and ridicule them? Of course you don't! Because they are part of your family in Christ, right? Most of you homophobic asswipes think they are sinning anyway with their homosexuality. So why should they abide by your religious rhetoric of what a marriage is supposed to be about and stay with their spouse forever til death do them part when so many Christians themselves don't even do it themselves!

When some people actually postulated that gay marriages might be more stable than straight marriages, I thought that was crazy. Gays are human beings and equally fallible, right? But it turns out they were right. Apparently the law will force them to stay together until death. Bwahahaha!!!

...And there's no reason to resort to childish insults. That just make you and your position look smaller and sadder. I'm talking to you, LadyValkyrie37.

A couple who married is getting divorced, this is not news. That its a gay couple is no special factor.

My brother and his wife are in the middle of a divorce, in fact I know more divorcing couples than marrying couples.

Straight people divorce too, should we ban straight marriage?

Hey EarthsAzureLight - you're telling Dan to "get your Christian fundamentalist agenda away from people who just want the same rights as all other people" but you're the one on his website. I bet you don't find comments from Dan on your website saying, "get your satanic liberal agenda away from people who have moral Christian values and ideals."

No no, not telling Dan to get his agendy away from me, I am speaking more on society as a whole. It is part of the Christian faith to spread it, even to those who don't want it.
