My 4 year old daughter had all of her dolls undressed and we asked her what she was doing. She said, "I am having a naked doll party." Should we be worried?

I definitely think that's a pretty normal thing for little kids to do. I wouldn't worry unless she was doing it all the time or if things got ... uh... a little more adult. If she's calling it a naked doll party, it sounds pretty harmless.

My 4 year old niece prefers her barbies to be naked. I think it's very normal.

My barbies always had naked parties... with ponies and trolls too. Imagine the horror when my parents walked in on that.

My Barbie dolls all ended up naked by the time I was 10 or 11. Mostly because I lost the clothes. Also because I was a bit perverted as a kid. And yes it was a little sexual. Be worried. No, don't. I turned out fine. I think.

I have a funny Barbie story though, this will tell you how much times have changed. When I was about 7 or 8, I wanted a Barbie doll. My mom's response was "Those are for teenagers." lol Could you imagine a teenage girl playing with Barbie dolls? She eventually caved and did buy me a Barbie, she refused to buy my Ken though. I never had a Ken doll. My Barbie had to rough it too. She was deprived of a townhouse and had to rough it. My mom made her a tent and a sleeping bag.

I used to have Armageddon with my Barbies--I'd throw them all down the basement stairs and pretend they were horribly maimed while the other Barbies would try nursing the injured ones back to health, only to fail miserably and put the dead ones to rest in the TV cabinet. This game continued until they were all dead. Ahh, those were good times...
But yeah, naked parties are nothing to be concerned with. The childhood mind isn't geared for, uhm, perversion until puberty hormones attack it.
