Um, derrrr? My dad's hearing is shot because of his time in the artillery. The earplugs they use now are much better at protecting hearing. Unfortunately for combat troops, their hearing is important so muffling it can be deadly :(
My dad had hearing loss from Korea. That's probably been an issue since the invention of gunpowder.
Why do people not look after their hearing?! I always gets me peeved, as I was born deaf and I deal, everyone else isn't and yet they fail to look after themselves. It's just a waste!
My Grandpa had hearing loss from WW2
Because the noise of bombs should be the biggest concern regarding bombs.
agree with JJ. Â earplugs are often used in training, but unfortunately, impractical during combat. blast injuries have also significantly increased.
I would rather sacrifice my hearing than an arm or a leg.
:/ Not good.
