It's that time of year again... for resolutions. I guess I could say my resolution this year is NO resolutions but what's the fun of that?
1) Trust God Financially - I have a really tough time with this one... it's always some poor excuse to God about why I can't tithe my 10% thinking wow... I really need it for the house... or I need to save up for grad school. However, I'm inspired by my pastor to really try it. He did it and managed to graduate with no debt. Crazy huh?
2) Quiet Times - So I'm really active with the church and I'm very much a part of my small group; however, I still don't seem to carve out enough time for God. I think I definitely to carve out some time for God in the mornings before work.
3) Eat Better & Learn How to Cook Well - I'll go long stints of eating low carb, low sugars, and then BOOM it's like I all of a sudden have intense cravings for it and I'll end up gorging on junk food and feel gross. I guess along with eating, cooking for myself on a regular basis goes hand in hand. I hear it's just healthier for you because it's less fattening and less sodium.
4) Physically Fit - I would love to say that I'm going to lose like 30-35 lbs or something but really, I just want to be toned and happy with myself in clothes. I don't want to be obsessed with my weight. I just want to have good cholesteral, sugar levels, BMI, Chest/Waist/Hip ratio, etc.
5) Be the Right Person - Instead of looking for the Right Person. How can you demand those around you to live up to your ideals if you aren't that person yourself?
Happy New Year to All!
