| Home!!!I am home now for Christmas break! Yeah! I was so excited to get finals done with! I got home on Thursday and I've been pretty busy ever since. I saw The Nativity Story with my dad and grandpa. It was such a good movie, made me cry. Saturday my best friend, Libby, had her 6th Annual Friend Christmas Party!!! We had a good time, we ate, played games, and caught up on each other's lives. Something interesting I found out that night was that a picture of a Jenna look-a-like, drinking, dressed all slutty, and all over a guy I went to H.S. with is on someone's myspace and people think it's me! There were some comments refering to "me" that I'm not very happy about either. People are stupid! Well, here are some of my fave pictures of our Christmas party...I hope you enjoy looking at us! | So I feel kinda bad I didn't list all my close friends on my Thanksgiving "thankful list" so this is me trying to make up for that. I am thankful for:
Matt Little: making me laugh all the time, ghetto music, and being a concerned and caring friend that listens to me ramble.
Bmo: your sweet smile, always having a funny story to tell (usually concerning nursing!), and refering to ppl as "quality."
Megalicious: eating dinner with me every Thursday night (Bmo too!), being your crazy introverted self, and having crazy fun times together.
David Lepor: your the best son a woman could have! Always encouraging and just an uber fun friend!
Aimee: dancing and singing to Michael Bolton, back massages, Girls just want to have fun, Steel Bars!!! Oh my times with you are priceless!
Kat: great roommate! Growing up and maturing together at Grace College, dance parties, loving Michael Bolton with me, "How am I suppose to live without you?", great conversations before bed, hard times that have made us grow closer.
Tammy: RITTERS!!!! great birthday parties, eyetoy and video games at Bret's, always making me late!!! Telling me you've seen celebrities and me not believing it!
Even though I listed these ppl before, now I will say why...
Megan Downs: Nelly, rapping Airforce One, rides to and from Grace, being able to relate in a lot of areas, spending the night in each other's rooms, listening to me and confiding in me as well, telling me I'm precious!
Melody: always being there to listen, to give a hug, whatever I need. You've been there through a lot of tough times, our giddy-stupid times, charlie's angels, being so different but alike at the same time.
Bret: being thoughtful (cards, pen etc.), filling up our Art History syllabi with notes, video games and eyetoy, 80's music, many fun times spent at your house, halloween parties. | | |
| And the rough year continues...I figure since Thanksgiving break is nearing and I don't feel the need to do anything, I would update my neglected xanga page!!! Since I last posted someone else close to me has died, my grandma. Ever since last year this time quiet a few people I am close to have died, and other unexpected things have happened; things I've never experienced before and it's been hard but good at the same time. God has really been teaching me a lot through all of this, and I think He had to get me to this vulnerable state so that I would really hear Him. I've never really understood the whole "God must bring us trials to make us stronger" but I understand it and I now realize trials are necessary for growth. I feel like God has brought me to need Him in a whole different way; I feel like I am maturing in my walk with Him and in other areas of my life as well. This weekend Matt Little visited!!! Yeah!!! Friday night, he, Bmo, Meg and I went to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner, then he and I saw the play Stage door, here at school and we hung out afterwards. Saturday night I had him and a bunch of his/my friends over for a party, and then some of us went to Steak and Shake til 3am! I am going home for break tomorrow!!! Oh, I am ready for turkey, mashed potatoes, noodles, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, sugar cream pie, pumkin pie, and my favorite...dressing/stuffing (whatever you call it!) My mom/grandma makes the BEST!!! I guess since I am posting this right before Thanksgiving it would be appropriate to tell of a few things I am thankful for: My parents, my grandpa, my friends (all of them, but 3 of them stand out in my mind cause they have really been there for me this year, Megan, Melody and Bret.) I will keep the list short...but the last thing I am thankful for is growth! 
This is not alcoholic, I promise!!! Just Bmo, Matt, Meg and I pretending it is!
